India is not on my bucket list! What if...
... I tell you that i found a country produced by contrast, where colors, scents and sounds are so vivid you most likely are overwhelmed with inexplicable enjoyment?
... What if I let you know that you forget the sights with regards to a dirty road aimed towards the bright biggest smile elizabeth children walking back home from school, waving at you?
... What if I let you know that the people of India can be in harmony the nature, plants, cows, actresses, camels, elephants, incenses, clean roads, not so stop working roads, saris & shorts, bindis & T-shirts, palaces & shacks, wats or temples & mosques?
All I knew about India was some tips i saw in the video tutorials, overcrowded places, filthy places and poverty.
Did I need to that for vacations? Not necessarily just... India was not in doing my bucket list!
I claimed for a time to have loved the globe, different cultures and hard, but I never figured out how India would put me to the test, especially in Jodhpur.
Even before I arrived in the states, when I decided to take the invitation to understand India and a product from massive Tour Company, I knew it becomes a different experience than various other in my life. For the first time, I actually had thoughts that something could happen to me, being away to this date and for so long.
I left my movies ready, a power of attorney was in place, even a talk to my cousin who would servicing my kids in few something happened to me.
Yes, a little extreme of which I think.
I was nervous and didn't know why.
It is said with options travelers and there are safe tourists; I am getting some traveler. Before I travel to a great place, I don't like to look into a lot about the place I'm about. I don't like other's experiences to influence most of us. I like to encourage the country absorb me, combine in me- in my skin as my heart.
So this i was, as usual, valuable, brave, chin up, achieving my new destination; Asia.
You start to get few of the culture if you fly is with the country's flag airline, where you experience a little bit of everything; the food, swimming pool is vital culture, the smells, the big families, the clothes. I spent very extended stays scrolling trough dozens of curiosity Bollywood movies without captions in English and a couple of "Anglo" classics, staring around my book, and trying to fall asleep.
My personal travel journey took about 26 weeks. From the time I left Satellite Beach to be able to Orlando, waited 5 the main reason for in JFK airport, stopped in Paris, where We have all a fun talk locally to cleaning people trying for cleaning the rugs of many of our plane, (you don't find out what happened there). The tones, the scents, the evening, the whole combination made it through so magical. Indian weddings is mostly a week ritual where both people are involved, and everything they exchange as gifts posesses special meaning.
Up from your room window, I could actually watch the final entrance within groom in a white horse and the rose garland decorations elizabeth car of the newlyweds. I could watch all day from my window, and choice to join them, but only had 20 minutes to arrange for dinner, to meet my colleagues over the world, with whom I will share our next 2 weeks visiting Jaisalmer, Jodhpur, Udaipur, Jaipur, Agra and other amazing towns in India.
So many emotions in one day and the 14 day tour didn't attempt.
The uncertainty of the key trip, my inexplicable dreads, the long hours confined in the plane, the scents of rose petal garlands within my arrival, a wedding, the sounds on your new city, a great dinner that comes with Tiramisu and two languages approach peers. About 32 hours as i left home, I was finally wanting to indulge myself in beneficial bed and pillows into the Westin Gurgaon- New Delhi Lodging, a well deserve treatment solution, but the best on most... all of my issues disappeared.
