How to Assemble Your Wedding Invitation in Five Easy steps


How to assemble your Wedding Invitation covering the proper fashion, whether you're using traditional or formal style of Wedding Invitation or even a simple flat or creased / folded style with one few of enclosures.

On the internal envelope, write the invited guest's name only and nothing else. The inner envelope is optional; it's only a more formal way to ship your invitations but it's certainly not necessary. If you invest in a kit to do your current invitations yourself, chances are definitely the kit will only go with one envelope to mail the invitations out with, but it's no second/inner envelope. The Response or RSVP Card's envelope is in addition pre-addressed and stamped heading towards guest so all they have to do is mail it does not back to you without paying for postage.

Before assembling, make sure you have everything together first, so lay out every little thing of your Wedding Invitation attire:



  • Outer envelope (if you're using one)


  • Inner envelope (this is the envelope that everything other than you goes into)


  • Response Card and matching envelope (Make sure the bag is pre-addressed and stamped)


  • Reception Card (if you're using one)


  • Tissue paper (if you're adding just a touch of tradition to your ensemble)


  • A particular Invitation


How to assemble your Wedding Invitation - the development order:



  1. Place the invitation face up over the tissue paper over just about anything printed area


  2. Place the Reception on top with other enclosure cards (Response unit card, direction card, etc. ) as well as the Reception card.


  3. Gather the stack together and place all into the inner envelope to your printed sides facing both you and your folded edges of the cards check out the envelope first.


  4. If you're only using one envelope, place the above into that envelope much the same order as in opportunity 2-3.


  5. If you're using the outer envelope, the inner envelope is then put into the covering envelope, with the handwritten reader's name facing you purchase to when they open the outside envelope, this is the first thing they'll see.


Mailing tips:

You want to query the postal clerk if and when they will please hand cancel papers without running them the machine. This will keep your envelopes looking great and avoid any damage element that could otherwise originate from the automatic rollers. This is especially important if your invitations possess some jeweled embellishments on them or ribbons could end up tearing compared to the envelopes if canceled through a machine.
