Top ten Tips For Wedding Photo

1. Enjoy & Have Fun
Please never go into Wedding Photography if you refuse to enjoy weddings. You'll ruin your day pressure and always remember that you only get get rid of chance at weddings. You cannot afford to screw it up. Working to tight schedule and achieving good social skills is really important as well.

2. Check Your Gear
Before you exit your home or studio in direction of the wedding, check & re-check my opinion camera gear, make sure all your camera batteries are fully charged and also flash gun batteries as well if you work with re-chargeable. I personally wish re-chargeable batteries for this Nikon SB900 flashguns.

3. Have back-ups
Never go opposing photograph a wedding with some single camera body maybe a lens. You should have or otherwise 2 bodies. Try and shoot concentrating on the same bodies. Don't have a proficient body worth $3000 also a back-up as a $400 on your body. You need to supply you with a like-for-like back up health. I photograph with 2 bodies and get a 3rd one of back-up. Have a choice of lenses from wide sides, zooms and fast easiest lenses. The ones I'd recommend for shooting a married relationship with are:

- 24-70mm f/2. 8
- 14-24mm f/2. 8
- 85mm f/1. 4
- 70-200mm f/2. 8
- 105 VR Macro
- 50mm f/1. 4
- 35mm f/2

4. Insure Yourself & Your Business
It is definitely critical that you include things like yourself. Just like you'd probably insure your car & the home. You need to have sufficient insurance if the worst should happen whether the bunch is stolen, a CF card breaks or cracks and gets corrupted alternatively hard drive failure, someone gets hurt or injured due to your negligence while you're with only a wedding. To cover your wellbeing, you need to bunch:

( you may be outside of the UK, then please check in your insurance company or demand legal advice)

5. Don't Shoot in Continuous Mode
You yearn to pick the moments a person shoot. Shoot like a sniper, wait, aim as well as fire. Don't machine gun planet earth & anything that moves with the hope of getting one excellent image. Remember, you'll have to edit & post process the photos after the wedding. An amount you rather have, 500 really good images or 3, 000 traditional ones images? A story of a typical wedding can easily hear in 500 images properly less.

6. Shoot in RAW
There is you don't shoot JPEGs anymore. Shooting in RAW means you are required to 'future-proof' your files which as using software like Website 3, Lightroom 3 as well as the Capture NX2, you can edit them completely while using non-destructive manner. If you has dual-slots for CF invites (Nikon D3 / D3x / D3s), then set both slots to RAW+RAW. Aid you have instant safety net of images in goggles. Gives you more peace of mind and I don't incorporate some hesitation in using larger cards the actual 8Gb ones. If you've only one CF fit in your camera, I would advise much less use cards larger that is when 2Gb. So you don't put all your eggs in an extraordinary basket if things fail.

7. Don't Delete Images In-Camera
You this might miss great shots you may be constantly 'chimping' and deleting images by the CF Card. You utilize up more battery concentration of your camera and aside from that risk the CF card going corrupt.

8. Splurge Flash Creatively
When using universal serial bus, use it creatively by subtracting the flash outside the hot shoe of the camera. Lastolite produce a choice of products which are fantastic for the small flash sniper rifles.

9. Always Be One Step Before the Game

- Schedule of the morning: Whats happening when
- Names of bridal party i. mirielle parents, best man, brings, bridesmaids, etc
- Emergency Telephone Numbers
